How many soaps do you watch on a daily basis? Well I tape five currently running soaps daily (the ABC line-up), Days and GL. I do not watch them daily. I also TiVo Ryan's Hope to get whatever episodes I missed on DVD instead of VHS.
How long have you been watching soaps? My first real soap memory that is clear is from 1987. I have vague memories from earlier like certain actors I feel like I've always known, as I had babysitters who watched soaps. For example I knew the Days opening and names of AW characters for no good reason. Before the age of 5 my sister and mom watched Ryan's Hope and AMC.
Do you watch LIVE or on SOAPnet? SoapNet
Do you DVR/TIVO or record your soaps? Yes I record
Do you watch alone or with someone? Watch alone
Do you watch NBC, CBS or ABC soaps? All of the above, though it changes. I sometimes hiatus from shows for years at a time.
What is your favorite soap(s)? My favorite soaps of the past were Another World, Santa Barbara though before they went off the air it got to be too painful to watch. Days at one time... GL before they decided to screw with their core. Now I don't have a favorite soap.
Who is your favorite ALL-TIME Daytime couple/pair/character? Bloss see screenname. If we have to limit to one.
Who is your favorite CURRENT character/couple/pair? I don't have one right now.
Do you think you're an actor fan or a character fan? I'm not sure how to answer this, so this is going to be an essay response sorry. I tend to only like one actor per any given role. I can barely think of ten characters that I've really liked when played by more than one performer. And when it comes to performers whatever role I enjoyed them in most is when I've enjoyed them the most. I can like an actor in more than one part, but I have yet to love an actor in more than one part. For example my favorite Rick Hearst role is his turn on GL as Alan-Michael even if I like him on GH and watched him on Days. With Nancy Grahn, her Santa Barbara character of Julia is one of my favorites ever and Alexis pales in comparison even after all this time and the fact SB has been off the air for 15 years hasn't changed that.
What has been your favorite storyline from your favorite soap? Let's see...this is a list.
On Santa Barbara it was the Mason/Julia story when Lane Davies was Mason. It wasn't as good once Lane left.
AW Jenna/Dean, Vicky/Ryan when Anne Heche was Vicky. <g>
GL early 1990s it was so great. Youtube it, seriously. I could talk/write about it for hours

Why do you love your favorite show? What keeps you tuning in every day? I loved my favorite shows in the past because I felt connected to the characters and their stories. Today I don't have that and just hope to find something I do like somewhere. I've been enjoyed AMC a lot lately, but I don't expect it to last.

Well, I haven't watch GH live in almost two years, but when I watched every day faithfully I tuned in because it was entertaining. I throughly enjoyed watching the whole show. There was great story telling coming to life with great acting. How times have changed. :hmm:

Do you collect soap stuff like autographs, props, scripts, or other momentos? Kind of, I guess. I went to Greg Vaughan and Kelly Monaco's event in November and got pictures signed by both of them.
Why do you love your favorite show? What keeps you tuning in every day? Well, I haven't watch GH live in almost two years, but when I watched every day faithfully I tuned in because it was entertaining. I throughly enjoyed watching the whole show. There was great story telling coming to life with great acting. How times have changed. :hmm:

gah since i was a little girl (around 5) my mom used to watch them while growing up as well so porbably now 14 yrs

Who is your favorite ALL-TIME Daytime couple/pair/character? all time fav couple is Liason i loved jax & brenda, and i also loved TnT and of course JnR!! and favorite character thats hard to choose but Brenda, Spinelli, maxie, liz, jason, Lucky (JJ) Lorenzo, Carly(tams) & Robin.
Who is your favorite CURRENT character/couple/pair? Current: Liason and im loving Spinmax even if they arent together and characters Maxie, Spin, liz, jason, Luke, Johnny, Jerry, Carly & Robin.

What has been your favorite storyline from your favorite soap? Hmmm... i would say back in 1999 when jason got shot & liz and jason formed that friendship and got closer. Im sure there are way better story lines but thats what popped in my head at the moment lol oh and also JnR love story!! soo beautiful!!

Because GH has always been the soap in my household frowing up, and no matter vhow bad or tedious the storylines i have never been bored with it! i love the hospital aspect, the mob, the Kookyness that is spinelli & of course Luke. It has my all time fav couple!, has snarky characters, has jason & carly! lol i just love it!
