My December was her best ever work and one of the best albums I've heard in years. But because it lacked pop hooks that repeat thirty times throughout the song and instead told a story, people didn't buy into it.

Its a shame really, when true genius is overlooked due to the attention span of Generation Twit.

i love my december, but its not a cd i enjoy putting on and rocking out too. its a cd i put in when im angry and bitter at the world and feel all whiny and pathetic. and thank god for that,. because we all need CDs like that.

its not a cd with songs i want to hear on the radio. its not a cd with songs i want to go see her perform. im happy shes going back to super pop. i love super pop. and i dont mind admiting to it.

and who said pure pop had to repeat a hook thirty times? her other cds didnt have songs like that. i hate songs like that (hello womanizer!).

I like Kelly, but alot of the time (minus My December) I think the whole existence of her career is just based on what others want... what they want her to look like, what they want her to sound like, etc. There's a sound that's "Kelly Clarkson" and this song just reminds me of that; that she'll never be allowed to be her own musician.

Just like any other artist Kelly had her good hits and her flops. The new single is very good. I just wish it didnt have the word suck in it...LOL.
