What, in your opinion, are the ten best movies that have ever been produced? I am not asking you to pick your FAVORITE ten but to say which are the best of the best. I will go first, with one being the best and ten being the least best (but still damn great)
1. Gone With The Wind (1939)
2. Citizen Kane (1941)
3. Casblanca (1942)
4. Ben-Hur (1959)
5. The Wizard of Oz (1939)
6. Schindler's List (1993)
7. The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
8. Psycho (1960)
9. It's A Wonderful Life (1946)

I am a movie buff and have seen most everything, so I can't really narrow down my personal favorites.
These are the movies that I think are tops in their respective genre, movies that have set the bar for all that follow them.
1. Halloween (horror)
2. French Connection (action)
3. Return of the King (fantasy)
4. Million Dollar Baby (drama)
5. Spirited Away (animated)
6. Pan's Labyrinth (foreign)
7. Alien (sci-fi)
8. Silence of the Lambs (suspense)
9. Farenheit 9/11 (documentary)
10. Chicago (musical)

Okay, going to comment on each one
1. Love the film! It is very simple and also scary
2. Did not see it
3. Favorite movie of all time! I would probably put the entire Lord of the Rings series at #11
4. Excellent work and I love that Morgan Freeman finally got a long awaited and much deserved Ocar
5. Did not see it
6. Did not see it
7. Truly a classic and awesome
8. Wonderful film! Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins had such great chemistry
9. Moore's documentaries always make me laugh. Plus, they are also informative. My favorite of his is Bowling for Columbine
10. A very good film (I wish Renee got Best Actress for this but I was also thrilled Nicole Kidman won for The Hours. I hated the movie but love Nicole). My favorite musical is The Sound of Music

I'm not much of a movie buff, but I really do enjoy the films Enough, Rendition (sp), and the Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I also really enjoyed He's just not that into you but not in the same way I enjoyed the other films. I watched the sound of music and it was ok.
idk... I just wanted to post some comment.
