"In desperate times, desperate measures are sometimes the worst things to resort to. What GUIDING LIGHT became was not a soap opera. It smacked of ESPN or the evening news and done without any homage to the creator of the show. It wasn't because of one inept person in the last year or two; the show ran its course."

Like he should talk! Look at what he (and JERk) did to DAYS for the past several years...GL resembles much more of a soap than DAYS

Today is Liza's debut! I cannot wait! :)

Kenny at SON told me all about Garden of Eden. When he finished telling me the entire story, I said to myself, "WTF were they smoking?!" They must have put their crackpipe on standby when McT came along and did the unabortion

Liza/Zach/Kendall

I think this show would be better off doing a Liza/Zach/Kendall triangle than a Bug Eyes/Zach/Kendall one. Zach/Liza have only interacted in a couple of scenes but their chemistry is off the friggen charts. Let's go with Liza/Zach/Kendall since both Liza/Zach and Zach/Kendall have plenty of spark and chemistry. Plus, I find a Kendall/Liza feud would be more fun to watch than a Zach/Ryan one since pretty much everyone in the latter feud would want Zach to win...with Kendall and Liza, it may be a toss up as to who should be the victor.

The "new" Kendall

Okay so the show said that, when Kendall would wake up from her coma (which she did back in January), she would be "new" and have some "new" traits to her. Aside from the first week and a half of her out of the coma, this Kendall is not really that different from the old Kendall. The only difference I can find is the current Kendall is not as gung h0 as she used to be about interfering in other peoples' lives.

Brot's speech (4/21 show)

Was the speech that Brot gave to the military veterans a real speech to real vets? Does anyone know?

Scott LOD (4/24/09 show)

(to JR): "Babe must have been a Saint..."

*Oh, if only you knew her, Scott!*

Scott/Randi

I hope that the writers just keep these two as friends and not try to explore anything romantic between them. They have GREAT friendship chemistry but have NO romantic chemistry.

Erica on 4/24/09 show

She looked very pretty on today's show!

SOD Thumbs Up and Down: Aidan/Anne

In the recent Soap Opera Digest, the magazine gave a Thumbs Up and a Thumbs Down to the Aidan/Annie story. They praised the fact that the couple has rooting value and is good together, plus it makes sense for them to be together after being victims of the Rylee Machine. The jeers come over how Aidan is acting like a therapist in bringing Annie down to that one place to get her to recollect what happened to Tori when he has no training in mental health and he ia basically ignoring the Oakhaven staff's wish to help Annie...they advise that Aidan should just love and be good to Annie and let the people at Oakhaven treat her.

What are your thoughts? Agree? Disagree? I am with Digest on this one. Aidan/Annie are a great couple but Aidan is also going a little too far with his method of "therapy" (that was extreme to take Annie down to a dark room to remember what happened to Tori) and telling Annie to conceal certain things in therapy so she does not go on trial (while I understand his point since he does not want Annie to go to prison, it is never good to keep secrets in regards to mental health). Aidan should just support Annie and love her rather than both love her and play Dr. Fish n Chips..Just let the trained professionals assist Annie in getting better.

Bianca & Kendall <3.

"Poisoned pancakes" at least Pratt is fixing that!

I dont think AMC is as bad as people make it out to be at all.

Me neither. I am liking it.
Spoiler

Jake and the labor video-LOL!

Why on Earth was Jake surprised when he watched the video that detailed the steps of labor? Isn't he a doctor? He should already know this stuff! Even though he is not an OB-GYN, all doctors are supposed to know information in all fields. They are not required to be specialists in every kind of medicine but they are required to have knowledge on ALL fields of medicine, especially something like delivering a baby.

Adam prediction

I am going to predict that Adam gets diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. He seems to be having some symptoms of that illness. Does anyone else think this?

All I want to see with Bianca, this time around, is reuniting with Reese and then skipping town. If she is there to also be Mother Teresa and dispense her sage advice, then get her the hell out!

I love Bianca and all but Pratt ruined her...when she returns, it best be under a writer that understands her

Bianca/Reese question

Was their marriage officially annulled or are they still married?

I also LOVED their scenes on today's show!
