Actually, Audrina is getting her own show according to E! And they're pretty much all news, little gossip. If it wasn't sset in stone, they would say it wasn't.

And another thing. The stars are hindered from doing anything due to the contracts they signed with MTV. They can't go anywhere; MTV has them by the balls.

This whole "Lauren was useless after season 2" thing you keep saying is bullsh*t. Is there a rulebook for reality TV? Furthermore, if there is, does it say that the star of a show, the reason the show exists, should leave said show if he/she stops bringing drama? No, I don't think so.

I think LC has brought plenty of drama. The Hills is more widely known for the LC/Heidi rift, which has pretty much consumed seasons two through five.

I don't mean to sound harsh. Sorry if I did.

Im not saying Audrina doesnt have a show, she does. Im saying i wouldnt say it was set in stone until the ratings for the next season of the hills came in. Having a deal for a show and actually filimg a reality show are very different things. And then it airing is again another beast in itself.

They really are not as owned as it may seem. They dont get filmed 24/7. They have call times and whatnot. They also get to live a lifestyle MTV helps them with. The VIP lists, the free vacations. in lauren's case the house she lives in - all of that is poaid for by MTV. and if MTV had them by the balls no way in hell would they allow Lauren's boyfriend not to be filmed.

Yeah there is a rulebook of starring in a reality tv show. Be intersting. Lauren? Not so much after season 2/3 and def not in the past two seasons. Hedid/Lauren rift is the one thing the hills is knowen for, without a doubt. Im not saying she never brought the drama, im saying she stopped. And there is nothing wrong with that, but leave the damn show. Lauren hasnt been the star of the hills in years. Shes been nothing more than a reaction to everything.

Not harsh at all. Its called a discussion, and i love it.

If anyone’s in the market for a new gig, allow us to suggest a career as a reality TV villain. The hours are lousy, but we’ve got a feeling you’re going to enjoy the perks….

In case you were wondering what brought Laguna Beach baddie Kristin Cavallari back to MTV, feast your eyes on this: Life & Style Weekly is reporting that the blonde wannabe actress will earn an astounding $63,000 per episode after signing on to replace archrival Lauren Conrad as the new protagonist on Season 6 of MTV’s The Hills.

That’s almost unheard of in the land of unscripted television — and just $2,000 less than $65,000 per episode payday that the network was shelling out for LC.

“They needed her,” a production insider says, explaining why Kristin will earn over $1 million for her work this season, solidifying her spot as the highest-paid castmember on The Hills. “They needed someone new and fresh, who also came with a buzz and a name that was recognizable. Kristin was the obvious choice.”

According to the source, Kristin used MTV’s desperation to replace Lauren to her advantage during contract negotiations.

“She wanted money. You don’t have to pay the other girls that kind of money, but for Kristin you had to pay up.”

At least one member of the cast believes the tongue-lashing Kristin’s tenure on The Hills will be worth every penny.

“She’s so fun and crazy,” says series star Holly Montag. “Kristin’s not afraid to put anything on camera. She’s not going to hold anything back.”

Basically, I very highly disagree with everything you have said, but I don't feel like arguing to the death (because I could), soooo......anyways!
