I love that Ric and Alexis' story continues to be intertwined despite both of them being in the wrong pairing for them right now...

I am enjoying the friendship/confidente role they are playing in each other's lives and I love that they are also co-parenting like they should have been all along. I really HOPE this aspect of GH continues for both of them.

I really despised what GH did to decimate the pairing and for this reason alone I will always ROOT FOR them and their family of Molly and Kristina.

I would like to have them back too Tara, simply because their scenes always carried more depth than what the written page actually gave us and them at times.

I love that this pairing as the ability to do it all and makes us feel it all and even in their current scenes now as Exes they still have this ability to draw you into their scenes...I really HOPE GH understands that the viewing audience is not always about the fluff, which is what I consider both Ric and Alexis' current pairings to be. I would rather watch the depth of Reckless on my screen.

Well my thing is they are just such powerhouse actors. Neither have been a part of a pairing with such an equal as a partner as Rick and Nancy are for each other. They go balls to the walls in their scenes and it rocks.

My favorite non-Robin scenes of 2006 were definitely the Rexis breakup scenes and the scenes in the chapel during the epidemic. They were so moving.

I really will never understand why such a great couple had to break up. The summer of sleaze killed two of my fave couples: LL2 and Rexis. Guza needs a pink slip already!

Tara what a great post and yes I have to agree about the balance between Rick and Nancy in their scenes, I think this is what drew me into the pairing first and foremost...I was always a fan of both actors but together...they are MAGIC on my screen.

I love that they can do it all; be it romance, comedy, or drama and they manage to draw me in each and every time.

I do like this new direction that they are going in; of them becoming each other's friend and confidente, and I hope eventually, it will lead to them rekindling their love, but yeah I know it won't happen overnight on this show unless the writers want it to happen.

I really miss the family dynamic of Ric and Alexis with Molly and Kristina...this show is seriously lacking in this with having only one couple married at the moment...it really is unheard of for a Soap too...Whatever happened to this show having more than one family at a time on our screen?

And it is nice to see that people still recognize that Rexis were wonderful despite the shoddy treatment they got in the past year. I really want this show to recognize that despite their complications Ric and Alexis really did love each other. That part of these character's histories should not be forgotten or rewritten just for the sake of the writer's latest plot points. I want them to always have this connection on my screen despite them being divorced now.

I love that Alexis showed some concern for Ric last week and that she is doing a background check on Marianna, knowing she is somehow involved with Trevor.

I totally love that GH threw in that Reckless Bone in the past week and I hope it continues.

I was happy to see that GH allowed Rexis to make the 45th Anniversary Montage considering what this show did to demolish them. It was nice to see them together. :flowers:
