Actually, I was deliberating whether or not if I was going to be watching Melrose Place or Big Brother, so I recorded Big Brother and watched Melrose Place which is so unlike me because I'm addicted to Big Brother.

I loved the premiere! Of course, it's going to take me awhile to memorize the names of every character, but I cannot believe they killed off Sydney! I thought she was going to be one of the main characters on the show!

Thought the couple who were celebrating their 5th anniversary (not being married) were really cute together, but I don't think she really wants to marry him and he needs to pursue the blond-headed bi chick. She kind of reminds me of Amanda in a way.

I said the exact same thing about Ella! She has very Amanda-esqe qualities.

"I'm not a prostitute!" I also like this character for some odd reason, but I didn't really get the deep relationship with her father. She's all like, "Yeah, I know the economy is bad ... bye father." Maybe the writers will write her a little bit better, but I don't think that Ashley Simpson is all that. Her performance reminded me of Brett Favre from the movie There's Something About Mary. In other words, stale.

Ashlee has a very unique style of acting; you just have to warm up to it. Her guest stint with hubby Pete on CSI: NY was pretty damn good.

I'm wondering if this is the last we'll see of old Syd. My curiousity grew when they announced that she had faked her death before.

Not enough Colin. He did ten times better than I thought he would.

Damn, damn, damn. Ella is HOT!

Immediate dislike of the cast: the chick who plays Lauren. Idk why, but I instantly hate her. Too many crybaby/daddy's girl qualities about her. I have a feeling she's going to be the kind of character that brings everyone down with her.

The good? Katie Cassidy and her amazing role of Ella.

The Bad? Everything else.


this show SUCKED major. Hopefully like its original and sibling show 90210 it will pick up.

Okay, now I'm getting into this show. I think my favorites so far are Ella and Augie or however you spell his name. And Derek was right on the dot with Violet being Sydney's daughter in the other Melrose Place thread that we had. But that Sydney is quite the little ho-ho!

-Ella Simms is the best thing on this show
-Wohaaaa heathers face.. what?! why?
-I miss Victor Webster
-Thank gosh they finally amped up the sex on this show
-For some reason i like Riley & Jonah
-Violet & her step-brother were creepyyyyyy
-David & lauren are a really good rooting couple
-I don care who killed Syd
-I dont like Michael. Enough with the returns lets learn who these new people are...

I have a lot of issues with this show, but it keeps getting better.
