Yeah it does look good. I wonder how much it differs from the 80's miniseries
"Kendall and Zach? They're untouchable. Ok? They take the vow 'through good times and bad' to a whole new level. I mean, they've been through comas and affairs and tornados and bomb shelters...and rogue lesbian kisses. Any crisis you can imagine. I am telling you, nothing comes between Kendall and Zach. Nothing. Not even when they're apart. He's not alone. All right? She is there with him. Maybe not physically, but she's there all the same. They're inseparable, ok? Every single thing he does, every decision he makes is either for or about Kendall."- Tad Martin 8/25/09

I didn't see the original miniseries, but I'm definitely liking the remake.

Ryan SYFY has been showing the original mini series this past week. It's pretty good.
I remember when the original came out(I'm showing my age now LOL)

I remember watching the original with my mom when I was a kid. I used to pretend I was an alien and wish they would come take me!! LOL
As far as this new version. I really like it so far. I was kinda concerned at first because of other networks fuc#$ng up 90210 and Melrose Place but was pleasantly surprised by V. I am pissed that they are only showing 3 episodes then they are going on a break until March. ARG! This will hurt their ratings and lose a lot of people's interest. Bad move for the network IMO.

The original miniseries came in 1983.
V: The Final Battle miniseries came in 1984, followed by a season long season in 1985. Yes, it was UNBELIEVABLY cheesy.
But the new show has been absolutely phenomenal. Its very apparent that ABC is prepared to have it be a replacement juggernaut for Lost when it goes off the air after this season.

I keep debating whether or not I should get into this. It looks really good but I'm not sure I've got time to get invested in another show.

Dag nabbit! I want to see this series, but I keep forgetting! LOL! I did see some of 'V' (and I actually remember this scene when I was a kid) on the syfy channel last week and they showed this alien eating a mouse. But what was even more comical about the mouse was that it looked soooo plastic! Ah, the 80's!
