Hi! I'm GHblogger, I'm new to this forum. I joined because I wanted to find out what other fans thought of Niz. I personally LOVE them! I think the on-screen chemistry between the actors is great, and the characters together make so much sense to me! They've both suffered great loss in their lives, and they've been there for each other all through that. They've loved other people so much before, and have been hurt, so they understand that aspect of each other. They also understand the whole Emily thing, and generally have the same priorities. Also, they have a great degree of honesty between them that Liz and Lucky just don't have - she always treats him like someone to be taken care of, rather than someone she can just be herself with. I don't like that they're still toying with the idea of putting LnL2 together because that relationship is so dead, the only thing that makes it interesting to watch them together is the anticipation of when she's finally going to tell him the truth and break up with him! I really hope the writers don't screw this one up because it's so fresh and entertaining - and SO RIGHT - that they might finally have gotten something right on the show. After they drove SJB off the show, this is my only respite! Hope it happens <3 *fingers crossed and knocks on wood* LOL.

So what do you think about Niz? Does anyone else like them, or even love them perhaps?

I wrote this in another thread here so I'll just re-post it here since its the same opinion...

I'm an Elizabeth/Emily/Nik/Lucky fan (4 muskateers) and Liason (Jason/Elizabeth)

so I just think Elizabeth is being written horribly just awful (again)

the same weak dialog she's not being written strong and self confident

I saw a serious turn in her being written very weak a few years ago but the Nov '08 storyline with the Russians really highlighted it for me
lots of emphasis on weakness, insecurity

They won't write her strong let her tell the truth they keep writing her so pitiful with low self-esteem zero, self-confidence. unsure of herself

the keep her in the "same" storylines lying all the time

She's a Webber one of the founding characters of this show yet she a written as a perpetual mess all the gains she made away from Lucky has vanished look at
her now with Nik.....that is what I do


Let her woman up and tell the truth please! and be written without this "negative focus”

they need to stop hacking her character down to build up others… This is an iconic friendship with two super couples of the past (Emily is dead) but still that is being destroyed

but the writers are not giving it the attention it deserves. The writing of this is biased and horrible script writing. So I don't know what to say other than I can be of fan of Nik and Elizabeth apart unless this gets better writing...I'm still on the fence with this one now that JJ is back. My preference is Jason and Elizabeth but they were written horribly too. So?
