ABC Soaps In Depth tweeted they heard from a reliable source that "Pratt is history."

A few minutes later Soap Opera Digest posted on their site:

Chuck Pratt Out at AMC!
Charles Pratt, Jr., whose controversial reign as head writer of ALL MY CHILDREN began in June 2008, has been released from the position. ABC confirms the ouster, but had no further comment. Stay tuned for more details of who will usher the citizens of Pine Valley through their cross-country move in January!

I'm not an AMC viewer, but it seems all the stuff I see is basically nothing but hatred for the man. Maybe I see this as a good thing? Or maybe this is because of budgetary reasons since they had to relocate to the West Coast?

I was sure Frons would NEVER fire Pratt and that he would be AMC's last HW!

This very well could have been about money or an actor or actors with ssome juice gving him the shove out the window!

The show needs someone who knows it's history!

About freaking time! I thought the unabortion under McTavish was bad, wow he really went nuts. This show is a shell of what it used to be. The only good thing about it is Jake and Amanda.
