Insane list, Y&R with all those nominations for acting. I haven't watch that regularly for years... Some other shows seem to have more tech nods than anything else. Surprised about people from Days getting nominations...good for them, but the system is still broken.

Oh I agree about the Y&R stuff. I mean, I'm not pissed off or anything but it's kind of insane. Especially in the Outstanding Younger Actress category. It's fucking crazy. Madness I tell you! But I am especially very happy for Days of our Lives, but I still wanted them to get Best Drama. But, what can ya do?

Where's the love for the Bold and the Beautiful? Where's the love for Passions? Okay- that was bad. I'll stop.

These nominations are sad. I hope this shows there is a huge problem with this new system. Its far too CBS heavy. But I will say this system worked in favor for Days which had more nominations then they usually do, so good for them.

All I know is that for me this is going to be a boring emmys to watch.

Oh and don't even get me started on KS not getting a nom I screamed at my tv when that happened.

The Emmy's are now just a JOKE and an embarrassment. CBS should be ashamed of their block voting. 4 out of the 5 top nods went to CBS show. They have some talent ovre there but for ABC to only get 3 acting nods with 3 show and all that talent they have is a joke. The Daytime industry has nothing to be proud of neither does CBS all their wins are now just stolen by block voting and the poor actors who deserved nods this year and didn't get them. This is so wrong.

Bradford Anderson like the character or not he brings something new to daytime. Carolyn H at GH and Steve Burton all should have gotten nods. Geary didn't do anything this year and the ones you mention.

Come on, Tish! Where's your love for Nicole Forester? Yeah ... I'm still shocked about that one. But, the CBS soaps usually get the most nominations for these things. If the Soap Opera Digest awards still existed, then you'd have every ABC actor/actress winning eveything because it's voted by the fans. But, there should have been more ABC soap nominations in my opinion. I'm especially shocked for General Hospital. They're usually the soap who gets the most noms for this thing. I wonder if Brian Frons will start paying attention to OLTL a little bit more. All of this makes me think too much.

The Emmy's aren't about lost viewers but is suppose to be about talent and acting and clearly its not. It's about block voting by CBS because they have 4 show and clearly they got in bed with NBC to completely block out ABC. That is a travesty and has made the emmy's a joke and a win a joke. The CBS people should be ashamed to even want to show up with this travesty. ABC was snubbed and its wrong. I don't care about the execs or even some bad storytelling. Its suppose to be about acting and its not.

I think Sony's Y&R and DOOL teamed up this year. I figured it would be P&G vs.Bells vs.ABC and Days alone, but if that was the case B&B would have gotten more than 1 acting nomination.
