MB talks about why he didn't submit material this year for an Emmy Nod.
"The answer is very simple: I feel very strongly that if you don't have the material that year, don't put yourself up - I didn't put myself in."
Benard added that he did feel that if anyone was snubbed of a pre-nomination, it's co-star Greg Vaughan (Lucky). "I think Greg has been overlooked twice now."
"My feeling about this Emmy situation is to take all the political stuff out. If you can just remember who had the best storylines and who had great shows-whether you like that person or not - that's who you should vote for. To vote that way is fair. Greg deserved a nomination. He's good, and overlooked."

Maurice always goes to bat for his fellow co-stars. I really admire that!

I totally agree with him that Greg has been overlooked. He does consistant, great work and he's overlooked all the time.
Deidre Hall's already said it like three times officially, most recently this past November.

His comments make me wonder if Greg is not liked on the GH set or if people just are closer to other people. I cant picture anyone not getting along with Vaughan - ever. IO hjave met the guy 8 times and he is by far one of top 10 soap stars to meet if you can. I have so many stories about him.
