Thursday my favorite summer show is back! Can't wait! Wonder if Sex will be back at the auditions...

I'm watching the marathon of Season 3 right now on MTV. Woot woot.

I know there have got to be other fans of this show on this board. Where my SYTYCD fans at?

Who have been your favorite dancers over the three seasons?

Admittedly, I've only seen Season 2 & 3 (sorry Nick Lazarino!).

My faves are Benji & Donyelle, Ivan, Travis, Mussa, Natalie, Lauren, Neil, Lacey, Dominic, Sabra, Jesse, Pascha, Hok, Sarah, and I love love love Shane Sparxx, Wade Robson and Mia Michaels.

LOL This is my sister's favorite show too. I get sick of her talking about it. There's a press conference on Monday with all the judges and choreographers this season. She heard that SEX does come back for the auditions, so she's sure they'll so it on the air.

Wade is her favorite. She heard he may not be back this season and she's devastated.

Her favorites are Melody, Nick, Benji, Donyelle, Mussa and Natalie, Danny, Lacey and Jaimie.

There are clips on Season 1 on the American Idols Forum board under SYTYCD thread. There were some on HellaGood for a while.

I'm sure she'll be in this thread or will have me post.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Wade didn't return. I called it last year in the finale.

The judges completely insulted him. They ripped on him for the Lacey/Sabra mother/baby fox routine. They had nothing to criticize Sabra and Lacey for so they just had at it with Wade and said how much they didn't get it and how it was all on the choreographer.

Personally, I liked the dance and completely understood it. But I digress.

I'm wondering if Shane will be back since he did America's Best Dance Crew for MTV this winter and they announced a month ago that it would be back this summer as well...

From reading around the web, it looks like Shane isn't going to be a regular like last year.

I DVRed the show while it aired last summer, and have watched since the beginning. A pal and her sister went to the SYTYCDance tour late last year. I was very jealous. It was very cool that they were on Idol Gives Back this year too.

I'm not at the "rooting for" stage yet. I usually go off of the first performances and then pick. I'm sad Natalie got cut.

I'm definitely not at the rooting for stage yet. I usually wait a week or two to pick unless someone just blows me out of the water right away.

I felt bad for Natalie too. I also felt bad for that guy who was a professional ballet dancer in Miami. He was so good & it was clear he wanted a chance to dance a whole bunch of things. I hope he's back next season because I'd really like to see him do more.

Even if Brandon is kind of cocky, I really HATED what Mia said to him as they put him in the Top 20. How is "something about you just annoys the f'ck out of me" helpful for anyone? That was just bitchy & really she has NO room to call anyone to the mat for being arrogant.

I agree that Mia went too far in her comments about Brandon. I'm still not 100% sure who my favorites are, as I like most of the ones that got some air time.

Mia's kind of known for those kind of moves. She did it to Danny too in Season 3. I think that she's really talented and all, and I love her for that, but I think that she just gets involved in too much drama.

Oh believe me I remember her going after myDanny. I do think she's talented, even though I think she's probably hyped up a bit more than she really deserves, but I don't like her personality at all. I find her incredibly rude, arrogant, and self-involved.

I'm excited about this season after seeing the first night of competition. There are a couple of people who I don't especially like but for the most part I like everyone. I think I'm going to enjoy this season more than last.

What happened to this thread? I'm pretty caught up on the show this season, and Kayla&Kupono's contemporary routine this week is probably one of my favorites EVER on this show. For that, I love Mia Micheals. (&perfect music btw) next to that Jeanette&Brandon's jazz number by Wade and Randi&Evan's hip-hop number by Tabs&Napoleon are my top 3. I also really liked the choregraphy and music in the samba for Randi&Evan. And they worked it out for the most part. <3
