In the latest SOD, Ken Corday is talking about Hortons remaining on the show now that Mickey is dying. In it, he names Nathan and Lucas as the new generation of Hortons. Either he was quoted before BD was let go, or Lucas is being recasted.

If they were to bring Carrie back (not saying I hope they do, b/c her last return was awful no thanks to the damn writing), I think they would truly invest in the character and write her differently than they have in the past.

Look what they've done to Hope, Nicole, Sami, Chloe -- they've taken characters that have been considered one note or stale and re-energizer them with layers and character development.

EXACTLY! I think the current writing regime could add more dimension to Carrie. I'd love for her to be the bad girl to Sami's (at times sickening) good girl. I honestly think that they have completely whitewashed the character of Samantha Brady, and we need a new Brady girl to mix things up.

How exactly was Carrie perfect? She erred too. Adultery anyone? Just because she wasn't a raving psycho bitch like her sister does not mean she was too vanilla. She was an actual human being during her time on the show, unlike serpent Sami.

And sorry, but a Carrie/Anna reunion is WAY overdue.
